Location: Breakers Cafe, Stinson Beach
Date: Saturday, 10 October 2020
Time: Arrival from noon
Ceremony at 1pm sharp
Dress code: Dressy-casual, beach-formal, garden attire
The Vibe:
Relaxed daytime wedding shenanigans at an outdoor cafe near the beach. Outside ceremony, followed by cocktails and plated culinary adventures. It's typically warm and sunny in the day, but there is always the chance of fog joining the party - extra layers recommended!
COVID SAFETY
We want to make sure that everyone feels safe and comfortable while being in our small wedding “pod”, and we understand each person’s going to have a different level of comfort with social distancing. So to make sure we’re having fun whilst keeping things as safe as possible we’ll ask everyone to follow some of the guidelines below:
Stay at home if you’re feeling unwell. Shoot us a text – we’ll be very sad that you won’t be able to attend, but we want to minimize any risk.
Please bring and wear face covering whenever you are not eating or drinking.
sharing isn’t caring in this case: avoid sharing items with other guests.
Avoid shaking hands or hugging. We favor the good ol’ elbow bump
Spare masks, individual hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be available for our guests – please use these liberally!
We will also provide you with the color-coded wristbands to make your individual social distancing preferences known without anyone having to say a word.
Both ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. Lunch will be seated – let us know if you have a strong opinion about being at a table without anyone else, we can accommodate!
The caterer/bar have been operating with COVID-safe protocols, so expect to fetch your own drinks and get plated food.
We strongly encourage you to get tested beforehand if possible. James and I will be doing it the prior week. We’ll use color.com for getting our tests – results usually take 24-48 hours. Pro tip: keep checking if no appointments are available, or look for walk in options
TRAVEL
Ubers/Lyfts are about $40 to SF each way – it’s a freaking windy road, so we recommend getting an Uber or carpooling if you want to drink.
There are a few parking spots at the restaurant that will be held, but safer to expect you’ll need to park on the street or nearby at the beach parking (5 min walk). Remember that this is a long weekend and traffic to Stinson could be quite bad, so please plan accordingly – the ceremony will start at 1pm sharp, so we’d ask you to aim to arrive at 12:00 (if you’re early you can check out the beach or hang out with us and a drink).
Sveta and James will be staying Fri/Sat in a big house in Mill Valley - if you're traveling for the wedding and want to stay with us let us know!
